To make this backpack I cut 33 x 86 cm big reactangle from jersey fabric. I also cut the same size reactangle from a cotton fabric. Than I fold it and sewed both sides of my cotton reactangle but I left small gap on one side.
From the same jersey fabric I cut two squares 6 x 6 cm for the loops. You need to fold it, so the right side of the fabric is hidden and than sew the 6 cm long side. Turn the fabric around and fold it again. Do the same with the second square.
Sew both loops with both sides of the jersey reactangle.
Last two reactangles are from jersey fabric (32 x 8cm). Take one and measure 1 cm from the left side, fold it an with zig-zag stitch finish it. Do the same on the right side. Than fold it. Take the second reactangle and do the same.
It is time to put all parts together. Take jersey (facing wrong side) than put inside the cotton (right side) and betwen them last two jersey rectangles. Sew that circle so that all parts are sewed together.
Find the gap and take fabric out to reverse it all.
Only thing missing are two 2 m long strings. Well, I need to buy them first. Can not wait to fully finish it.
