Bolero or shirt

Inspiration for this project is Martha & mini martha pattern. 

First you have to draft pattern. If you want to know how to draft it chack my other post.  

Take the pattern and fabric. I used jersey. But for bolero I used summersweat. Cut out the pattern. Sew the front decoration.  

Sew shoulders parts together.  

Sew sleaves on shoulders.  

If you would want to make a bolero you should sew both sides and measure circumference. Cut reactangle 12 cm x measured circumference. Sew together both 12 cm long endings. Fold it and sew it on bolero. 

If you want to make a shirt also cut from pattern front shirt bottom part and back shirt bottom part. And sew it both. 

 

Sew both sides.  

For the side collar I used this tutorial: Klick. You need to measure neck hole and add 8 cm. For the width you should use 26 cm. Seam allowance here is included.
