My new favourite sewing project! It is a twirl beanie, it is a ponytail beanie, it is a headband, it is a scarf. Yes, it is all of the above.
We will need two measurements. Length (L):
Toddlers and kids under six = 45 cm;
Kids and Teens = 50 cm;
Adults = 55 cm.
Hat circumference (HC) (you can measure on your yourself or use one of these hat circumference measurements (here add seam allowance):
0-3 M = 34,5 cm;
3-6 M = 37 cm;
6-12 M = 40 cm;
1-3 Y = 46 cm;
3-10 Y = 50 cm;
Teens = 51 cm;
Women = 53,5 cm;
Men = 57 cm.
Fold reactangle and sew the other side but leave small hole.
Take top corner and fold it diagonaly.
Do the same with the other top corner.
You have now four layers at the bottom. The middle two layers put more inside so you will not sew them with second two.
Start sewing and gently pul the middle two endings and keep on sewing till you make it to your start.
Sew the hole.
