You will need only two measurements You can measure your head or use these measurements.

Hat circumference (HC) :

0-3 months = 34,5 cm;

3-6 months = 37 cm;

6-12 months = 40 cm;

1-3 years = 46 cm;

3-10 years = 50 cm;

Teens = 51 cm

women = 53,5 cm

Men = 57 cm

Hat length (HL):

0-3 months = 15 cm;

1-3 years = 18, 5cm;

3-10 years = 20 cm;

If you want to make long beanie use this measurements (HL):

On paper draw reactangle using 1/2 HC and HL lengths.

Cut it out and fold it. Measure 1,5 cm from top left to right and 1/4 HL (1/4 HL from long beanie! It does not matter wich beanie you are making) from top left to bottom. Connect so you will get a triangle. Add a curve to top right corner.

Cut the pattern out, unfold it and mark where the fabric needs to be folded. Add seam allowance but not where is triangle.

If you want to make beanie from two different fabrics just cut the pattern twice but fold fabric only on the left side.
