Mark where the fabric needs to be fold (on the left and on top). On the left top corner draw a point A.
Now you can measure your waist or use standard measurements:
Size 34 = 62 cm, size 36 = 66 cm, size 38 = 70 cm, size 40 = 74 cm, size 42 = 77 cm, size 44 = 82 cm.
And for girls:
size 92 = 52,6 cm, size 98 = 53,2 cm, size 104 = 53,8 cm, size 110 = 54,4 cm, size 116 = 55 cm, size 122 =56,5 cm, size 128 = 58 cm, size 134 = 59 cm, 140 = 61cm.
Calculate radius (take your measure and divide it by 6,28). Draw 1/4 of a circle using your radius.
On both folded sides from point A measure radius plus the smallest wanted skirt length (R+L) and mark point B1 and point B2. What length would I recomend? For a shorther vershion 48 cm and for longer vershion 58,5 cm. For girls: 92 = 18,5 cm; 98 = 22 cm; 104 = 24 cm; 110 = 30,5 cm; 116 = 33 cm; 122 = 35,5 cm; 128 = 38 cm; 134 = 40,5 cm; 140 = 43 cm.
Use R+L length as second radius and measure it from point B1 and than from point B2. Where the lines tuches there you put point C.
Connect B1 and C with a line. Connect B2 and C with another line.
Cut the pattern.
If you would want to use our pattern as a part of a dress, that would be it. But we want to make a skirt so we need another piece.
Cut reactangle using: your width (W) x 14 cm (WH).
When you will put our pattern on fabric add seam allowance.
How to sew it?
Take reactangle an sew both WH sides together (blue colors). Fold it and sew it with first pattern (red colors).
